ABOUT MANA
About the Group
MANA is a Baha’i inspired Pacific Island music and cultural performance group based in Australia. The members of MANA are originally from Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti and the Cook Islands, and the word MANA means ‘the Almighty’ or ‘the Powerful’ and signifies strength of spirit in most languages of the Pacific. The lyrics in their albums are based on the quotations of Sacred Baha’i Writings and passages found in the sequence of courses developed by the Ruhi Institute.
The MANA initiative is carried out as a service project with all profits channeled into the recording of subsequent albums. The music is designed to be used in your activities, assist you in the memorization of these quotes, and serve as a source of inspiration.
